Nottingham
Retail giant Tesco is to take 6,000 sq ft of 63-64 Long Row in Nottingham for an express store outlet.
The building, which was purchased by property entrepreneur Chek Whyte in 2007 for approx £2.3m, will be let to Tesco. A rental in the region of £90,000 pax was being sought.
The building was previously occupied by discount retailer What Everyone Wants. The property comprises approx 35,000 sq ft of accommodation in all and has double frontages to both Long Row and Upper Parliament Street.
The building was sold by Nottingham based agents, heb which acted on behalf of private clients and was sold to local businessman Mr Whyte.

The latest Tesco Express to hit Nottingham is expected to open in April 2008.

Wolverhampton
Following instructions from the House of Fraser, TSR have sold Hadrian’s Chambers, Skinner Street, Wolverhampton to Beatties property department.
The property provides 1,367 sq ft of office accommodation over its two floors. The building benefits from a mix of open plan and cellular offices.
Hadrian’s Chambers has been sold to a local investor who has retained TSR to market the property to let.
The quoting price was £135,000.
