In a deal brokered by Birmingham based GBR Property Consultants on behalf of Barberry Developments, British Airways Pension Fund

has purchased the long leasehold interest of Birmingham city centre office development, b1, for close to £23m.
An office development on Summer Hill Road, b1 was formerly a derelict industrial site.

Coventry
Safeland Trustee (Jersey) Ltd, advised by DTZ, has acquired Bilton Industrial Estate, Humber Avenue, Coventry for £8.795m from Legal & General’s Industrial Property Investment Fund.
The estate comprises approx 16,118 sq m (173,500 sq ft) of industrial space and serviced offices and is multi let. The majority of leases have less than five years until expiry. The current net rent roll is £650,000 pa.
