Oldbury
A Black Country estate, which was given a new lease of life thanks to an £850,000 investment, is seeing business bloom.
Five production and warehousing units totalling approx 20,000 sq ft at the Springfield Estate in Oldbury have been refurbished with works including new signage, landscaping works and road improvements also carried out. They have proved so successful that estate owner London and Cambridge Properties (LCP) has only one still available to let.
New company, Dutch Garden Supplies, was the first to move into the updated block, taking on a 4,230 sq ft unit for six years at an average of £4.67 psf.

Wellingborough
Unit 113a Leyland Trading Estate, Wellingborough has been let on a new three year iri lease for £6,000 pa.
The 1,050 sq ft property has been taken by D & A Kitchens with annual break options and annual upwards only rent increases in line with RPI.
Underwoods represented the landlord, Whittle Jones (Midlands) in the transaction
