Peterborough
Smiths Gore will be the second tenant to move into the newly refurbished
10,981 sq m (118,205 sq ft) Stuart House office building in Peterborough
city centre. Smiths Gore has agreed a lease at £13 psf on 829 sq
m (8,920 sq ft). Savills were joint agents in the deal. Landlords, CIT
Group plc purchased Stuart House in 2006 with its UK fund. CIT has comprehensively
refurbished all the vacant offices to a high specification.

Bakewell
Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has acquired premises on behalf of Edward Jones
at Peppercorn House, South Church Street, Bakewell. Edward Jones have
taken a new 10-year lease, subject to a five-yearly rent review and tenant
option to break in the third year at a commencing rental of £15,000
pax. The premises comprise 735 sq ft.
