Acting on behalf of private clients, Reeves & Partners have sold
the freehold interest in 27 Spon Street, Coventry to ID Partnership,
architects.
The property comprises 566 sq m (6,099 sq ft) of offices over three
floors with a substantial private car park.
The purchase price was agreed at a figure in excess of £900,000.
Banbury
White Commercial Surveyors have announced that they have let George
House in Banbury to Sevacare (UK) ltd. The premises situated at first
floor level comprise 1,691 sq ft of modern office accommodation together
with three car parking spaces. Sevacare have taken a four-year ir lease
at a rental in excess of £13,000 pax.
White Commercial Surveyors acted on behalf of Wentworth Kitchens in
the transaction.
Banbury
White Commercial Surveyors have now let all 11,500 sq ft of the 20,000
sq ft self-contained headquarters office building known as Finance House
in Banbury, having recently completed the letting of the second floor
to Lagan Homes Banbury UK. Lagan Homes have also completed a
purchase of the building, where the head-lease currently held by Lloyds
TSB Commercial Finance.
The letting of the second floor open plan offices, comprising some 5,626
sq ft with 30 car parking spaces, was taken on an under-lease expiring
20 March 2009 at a passing rental of £65,000 pax.
White Commercial have also recently let the third floor of the building
to Porter Novelli Ltd.
Banbury
White Commercial Surveyors have announced that they have completed the
letting of the second floor offices overlooking the Market Place in
Banbury to the Best Connection Group Ltd.
The company have completed the letting of the entire building. Best
Connection has taken a lease on approx 935 sq ft of accommodation which
was refurbished by the landlord and at a rent in the region of £9,500
pax.
Wolverhampton
Part first floor offices, Balliol Business Park in Wolverhampton has
been let off a quoting rental of £7,650 by Towler Shaw Roberts
to RMK Construction Ltd.
The landlord of the 94 sq m (1,014 sq ft) property was HV Scan Ltd.
Wolverhampton
The Ground Floor Office Suite, Derwent House, 42-26 Waterloo Road in
Wolverhampton has been let by Towler Shaw Roberts to Remploy Ltd for
£21,200 pa. The assignor was Leonard Cheshire Disability.
Albrighton
On behalf of a local businessman, Towler Shaw Roberts has let 79-81
High Street, Albrighton near Wolverhampton to Jade Shop and Storefitters
Ltd for £10,000 pa.
Redditch
In a deal brokered by joint agent DTZ, E B Security Ltd of Leighton
Buzzard has bought two units at Centech Park in North Moons Moat, Redditch
from the vendors representative Commercial Estates Group for £408,345.
E B Securitys premises are currently under re-development and
will become the corporate headquarters for the group which consists
of E B Security Ltd, E B Agency Services Ltd, E B Systems Ltd, Norwich
Premier Security Services Ltd, Prosec International, Burton International
Ltd and Endeavour Security Ltd.
Ashby de la Zouch
Salloway, acting on behalf of a private pension scheme, have sold Elford
House, 6b Elford Street in Ashby for the freehold price of £105,000.
The 58 sq m (630 sq ft) office was sold to another private pension scheme.
Cannock
2 and 2a Mill Street in Cannock have been sold at the freehold price
of £270,000 to the Prichard Group of Companies by a private vendor.
Salloway and Rushton Hickman acted for the vendor of the 204 sq m (2,202
sq ft) offices.
Birmingham
Lambert Smith Hampton have completed two deals for its client AXA, at
Civic House in Great Charles Street.
LSH disposed of the sixth and seventh floors which each totalled approx
7,800 sq ft.
The sixth floor was acquired by West Midlands Police who were initially
looking to take a sub lease until AXAs lease expiry. Following
successful negotiations with the superior landlord, Norwich Union, AXA
secured a deal allowing them to surrender their liability and Norwich
Union granted a new lease to West Midlands Police.
The seventh floor was acquired by HBOS. Again, LSH approached Norwich
Union to enable them to surrender back their lease liability.
The deal prices were undisclosed, but GVA Grimley, who are acting for
Norwich Union are seeking £16 psf for a new lease.
