Exchange Arcade, Nottingham

Acting on behalf of retained fund client, DTZ has sold the Exchange Arcade in Nottingham to CBRE Investors for £23.65m, reflecting a net initial yield of 4.64%.
The grade II listed building comprises 20 retail units, all of which are fully let, and an office suite on the first floor, securing a total rent roll of around £1.2m pa.

Milton Keynes
Burges Salmon has acquired for clients The Crown Estate, a 60,400 sq m (650,000 sq ft) major distribution warehouse in Milton Keynes for a price in excess of £72m.
The property is currently under construction at Magna Park Milton Keynes logistics park. On completion of building works in September of this year the state-of-the-art facility will be let in its entirety to the John Lewis Partnership.
The building will beat the leading edge of environmental sustainability, with features including renewable energy sources. It is anticipated that proposed environmental measures will reduce John Lewis’s operational costs by approx £250,000 pa and will reduce carbon dioxide output by 40%.
The 81 ha (200 acre) Magna Park Milton Keynes logistics park, a joint venture by Gazeley UK Ltd and Land Securities, has planning consent for 316,000 sq m (3.4 million sq ft) of modern and flexible warehouse accommodation.
