Joe Higgins of Humberts
Promotion

Humberts has promoted surveyor Joe Higgins following his successful completion of the RICS assessment of professional competence.
Joe, who joined the Grantham office of Humberts in 2006 to gain more broad based commercial experience, has completed the final step in his path to becoming a chartered surveyor. The result has been immediate promotion to the specialist valuations team at the national firm’s Lincoln office.

Staff Changes
Stoford Developments has appointed Gerard Ludlow as a development manager on industrial and warehousing schemes.
Gerard was previously part of the commercial office team at Savills, where he completed his training and worked on a number of acquisitions.
Also, Pauline Anderson joins Stoford Developments as a personal assistant to the construction team and three directors after a number of years working within the legal sector.

Ben Kelly of Jones Lang LaSalle
Senior Surveyor
Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the promotion of Ben Kelly to senior surveyor within its national investment team based in Birmingham.
Ben joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2004, and is responsible for the acquisition and disposal of investment properties, across all commercial sectors, in Birmingham and across the Midlands.

Movember
A group of staff from the Birmingham office of CB Richard Ellis turned their facial hair into funds to raise more than £3,000 for charity.
The six people, including managing director Martin Guest and chairman of regional business Julian Shellard, abandoned their razors and grew moustaches throughout November to take place in the annual ‘Movember’ challenge, in support of The Prostate Cancer Charity. Not since the Village People has such an impressive selection of ‘top lip ticklers’ been on display, with those taking part modelling their moustaches on those worn by famous fans of the once fashionable feature, including Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck and the Chuckle Brothers. At the start of ‘Movember’ participants – known as ‘Mo Bros’ – register with a clean-shaven face. They then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustaches, while raising as much money and awareness about prostrate cancer as possible.
