Proposed redevelopment of Waterfront South, Walsall
Walsall

Staffordshire based Jessup has submitted a detailed planning application for the redevelopment of Waterfront South alongside the canal in Walsall.
The proposed development, designed by S.P. Faizey Architects, will consist of some 360 apartments and houses, a 4,800 sq m office block plus twin deck parking and other commercial spaces for offices, restaurants and café bars.

Coventry
Work is well underway on a major modernisation project at one of the most successful business centres in the region.
The University of Warwick Science Park’s Venture Centre, near Westwood Heath, Coventry, is undergoing a refurbishment programme, with funding support from Advantage West Midlands, worth more than £0.5m – the biggest undertaken since it opened over 20 years ago.
The work began last summer and is expected to last around two years and will improve the centre internally and externally including everything from new lights, windows and ceilings to a new conservatory which will provide a new social and meeting environment to enhance the café facilities already run in the centre.
Birmingham

St Modwen Developments Ltd is seeking planning consent to develop a range of industrial units on the former car storage site at The Cofton Centre, Longbridge, Birmingham. A planning application for more than 300,000 sq ft of industrial space on the 18-acre site off Groveley Lane has been submitted to Bromsgrove District Council.
Subject to planning consent, the first phase could be completed by the end of the year.
PRG Europe is currently fitting out the 157,000 sq ft former MG Rover parts distribution warehouse for its new premises adjoining the proposed development site which it acquired from St Modwen late last year.
