Newport Acting on behalf of a private vendor, Towler Shaw Roberts have sold 49 High Street, Newport to Fair Trade Ltd. The premises comprise 1,895 sq ft and were sold for £265,000 to include business goodwill. Shrewsbury Pooks of Shrewsbury have let 24 Shoplatch, Shrewsbury, a town centre shop unit with a sales area of 64.5 sq m (694 sq ft) plus basement. The new tenants are Hidden Hearing Ltd. The property has been let on a new ten-year lease and the asking rent was £20,000 pa. Wolverhampton Acting on behalf of Uppal Singh Properties, Michael Tromans & Co has let 31 Queen Street, Wolverhampton to Seven Retail Ltd. The		retail premises comprise a shop area of 204.6 sq m (2,202 sq ft) and are let at £25,000 pax from years one to three and £27,500 pax in years four and five. Nottingham New West in Nottingham has let further premises for hot food use at Carlton Road, being formerly a chemist outlet, on behalf of private investor clients. The ground floor comprised 55 sq m (590 sq ft) and New West were able to obtain planning permission for change of use on the ground floor to A5 Hot Food Takeaway. The premises have been let to Arco Pizza by way of a new 15-year lease subject to five-year reviews at £8,000 pax. New West, Nottingham acted on behalf of the private investor clients and the tenants Arco Pizza represented themselves.
