![]() The Lace Mill, Beeston Beeston Acting as joint agents with CP Walker & Son for Gilbert & Hall Ltd, FHP have agreed the letting of two ground floor self contained office suites to recruitment specialists Recard Ltd. The suites extend to 3,574 sq ft and a rental equating to £13 psf was agreed based on a 12 year term. The Lace Mill was built by lace entrepreneur Francis Wilkinson in 1867 and Gilbert & Hall Ltd have now carried out a restoration of the property which contains 24 apartments, four penthouses, one studio apartment and the now let office accommodation on the ground floor. Original features have also been carefully restored where possible. Stoke-on-Trent Block F Unit 2, Trentham Business Quarter in Stoke-on-Trent has been sold at a freehold price of £80,000 (150 year lease). The unit comprising 92 sq m (1,000 sq ft) was bought by Staffordshire Plumbing and Heating Ltd. Louis Taylor LLP acted on behalf of the vendor Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration. Nottingham Acting on behalf of Midland Venture Ltd, heb has secured a letting of Unit 4, Chelsea Court, Basford to Safestyle UK. The unit comprising 2,475 sq ft is arranged over two floors. Safestyle UK take occupation on a six-year lease at an initial rent of £27,225 pa. |

Riedel Crystal UK Ltd has purchased Building 3, Trentham Office Village, Trentham Lakes South in Stoke-on-Trent at a freehold price of £622,210 (150-year leasehold). The 378 sq m (4,074 sq ft) offices were sold by Louis Taylor LLP who acted on behalf of Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration. Bromsgrove D P Design Ltd has chosen Bromsgrove to establish its headquarters having bought the freehold of a property in one of the towns new business parks. D P Design Ltd has acquired 2 Millennium Court, 7 Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove for £175,000. The building has floor space of 1,222 sq ft and the address will be used as offices and design studios. John Truslove sold the property on behalf of Talepine Ltd. Stoke-on-Trent Louis Taylor LLP, acting on behalf of Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration, has let the ground floor of Building 4, Etruria Office Village, Forge lane in Stoke-on-Trent to Staffordshire Police Authority. The 812 sq m (8,750 sq ft) of office space was let on a £113,750 pa fri 15-year lease at £13 psf (with five-yearly upwards only rent reviews and a five-yearly break clause). Wolverhampton Hadrian Chambers, Victoria Passage in Wolverhampton has been sold freehold for £130,000. The 126 sq m (1,367 sq ft) property was sold by Towler Shaw Roberts on behalf of House of Fraser. It was purchased by C H Harrisons plc. Milton Keynes Ben Coleman Associates acting on behalf of Hewitsons have recently acquired approx 3,000 sq ft of offices at Second Floor, Exchange House, CBX, 1 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes. A five year sub-lease was negotiated at a rental of £40,100 pax together with a twelve month rent free period.
