Savills’ Birmingham has expanded its industrial team with the appointment
of Charles Spicer at its Caxton House office on Fore Street.
Charles joins the company as a surveyor and will work alongside Neil Starkie,
head of the Birmingham industrial department on a number of new and existing
projects.
Specialists
Shoosmiths has boosted its planning team with the appointment of two new
specialists.
Associate Tim Willis and solicitor Marcus Woody will be based at the national
law firm’s Birmingham office. Both join from Cobbetts, Birmingham.
New Partner
Martineau Johnson has announced the recent arrival of Iain Johnston who
joins as a partner and head of planning and environmental practice.
Iain brings with him over 12 years of planning and environmental experience.
Staff at West Midlands auction house Bond Wolfe have chosen sports enthusiast Josie Judson as the firm’s Employee of the Year 2008.
Mrs Judson works in Bond Wolfe’s property portfolio section dealing with accounts and scheduling.
She has been on the staff of the West Bromwich firm for the past four years, and before that she worked for a company that was taken over by the auction house.
Her colleagues at Bond Wolfe voted for her to receive the award.

Trio of staff
DTZ’s graduate recruitment programme in Nottingham has had a major boost with the appointment of Gemma Eyre as a graduate surveyor and the promotion of George Alcock to the position of fully qualified surveyor after successfully securing an APC pass on the training programme.
Gavin Smith has also been promoted to the position of associate director in the property management team.
New Premises
As part of its ongoing expansion Malcolm Hollis has moved from offices in Victoria Square to new premises located in the heart of Birmingham city centre at 85-89 Colmore Row.

Since rejoining commercial property specialist Underwoods just over a year ago, Kirsty Ward has now been promoted to associate partner.
Kirsty has assisted in the growth of the division and looks after a significant proportion of the properties managed by the company across all sectors – retail, office and industrial.
