Rugely The Birmingham office of King Sturge has landed one of its most valuable deals to date. The circa £5.5m project to relocate Staffordshire based Ultra Electronics PMES (PMES) to a new site in Rugeley has been two years in the planning and involved a coordinated approach of six King Sturge departments to bring the project to fruition. Led by Peter Leaver from Planning and Simon Lea from the Building Consultancy Team, King Sturge clinched the deal after obtaining outline planning permission for PMESs main 7.5 acre site for housing and the subsequent sale of the land to McInerney Homes for £9.4m on an unconditional basis. Work starts on site this month with a local contractor, TS Contracts, and King Sturges Building Consultancy expect to have the project complete by the first quarter of 2009. |
