Development specialist Richard Osborn has joined the Leicester office

appointment of Jonathon Matthews as a director.
Formerly head of residential valuation and development at DTZ in Birmingham,
where he worked for nine years, Jonathon will take up the same post at
CB Richard Ellis.
Two Partners
The Wilkes Partnership has announced two new partner appointments this
week in response to business growth and to develop new areas of the business.
Personal injury and insurance litigation specialist David Stevenson has
joined this week and Andrew Hasnip has been promoted to partner in charge
of the tax planning and private client team.
Project Manager
Birmingham and Nottingham-based boutique project management company Concept
has appointed a new project manager to boost its team.
Tim Gorman will be responsible for managing a programme of office refurbishment
schemes for London based property company Mapeley STEPS Contractor Ltd
and for several mixed used developments for Henry Davidson Developments
Ltd.

Michael Lawrence of Martineau Johnson
Partner
Birmingham and London law firm Martineau Johnson has appointed a new partner
to its property disputes team.
Michael Lawrence, who joined the firm in 2004, has advised on a whole
range of disputes, from lease dilapidations through to rent recovery.
Football Challenge
Twelve teams from Nottingham property agents, bankers, accountants and
lawyers took part in the inaugural five-a-side football tournament organised
by the East Midlands office of King Sturge.
The event was won by law firm Eversheds. They beat HSBC in a penalty shoot-out
after a 2-2 draw in the final.
Proceeds from the knock-out tournament, organised by Ben Parks of King
Sturge, which was held at the Power League Centre, Lenton, Nottingham,
were divided equally between MENCAP, the charity choice of Eversheds,
and Wish Upon a Star, the Nottingham-based charity which this year is
being supported by King Sturge.
New Agency
The groundbreaking property regeneration partnership between developer
Langtree Group plc/Bank of Scotland Corporate and Advantage West Midlands
has been named PxP West Midlands Limited Partnership (PxP) at an official
signing ceremony.
Langtree/Bank of Scotland was selected by Advantage West Midlands last
month as the preferred choice for its first public/private sector partnership.
In creating PxP, Advantage West Midlands aims to speed up the delivery
of development projects on selected sites within the Agency's £160m
property portfolio and create thousands of jobs.
Langtree/Bank of Scotland has acquired a 50% stake in the new £60m
venture. The other 50% will be retained by Advantage West Midlands.
From day one PxP takes over responsibility for the development of eight
of Advantage West Midlands' major development projects, comprising a mix
of inner city regeneration projects and edge-of-town high quality business
park opportunities totalling over 130 acres. Included in the portfolio
is the 22-acre LDV site in Birmingham and the 20-acre Bromsgrove Technology
Park.
The partnership will also manage Advantage West Midlands' portfolio of
investment properties comprising more than 600,000 sq ft of lettable space,
which includes a 270,000 sq ft production warehouse occupied by Jaguar
Cars at Fort Dunlop in Birmingham.
Shoosmiths led the legal team that advised Langtree and Colliers CRE acted
as property consultants.
