Hurling Way, St Columb
St Columb
Miller Commercial of Truro have recently completed lettings of two new
industrial premises located at Hurling Way on St Columb Industrial Estate.
The premises, known as unit 4 and 5 Hurling Way, offered gia of 5,039
sq ft and 5,029 sq ft respectively. They included a ground floor office
suite to the front, together with parking and vehicular access to the
rear.
The units were made available on new fri leases, off asking rentals of
£30,500 pax.
Unit 4 was let to Premier Pasties. Unit 5 was let to Connoisseur Studio
Ltd.
Warminster
Bath based HPH Commercial Property has let its warehouse at Stephens Way,
Warminster Business Park, to national builders merchants Travis
Perkins.
HPH acquired the building in the summer last year and has since carried
out a refurbishment of the 11,760 sq ft warehouse.
The modern Stephens Way warehouse, with ground floor showroom, offers
a trading space of over 10,000 sq ft and office accommodation of over
1,500 sq ft on the first floor.
The unit lends itself to the internal storage and racking of building
materials whilst enabling customers to park easily, load and unload; crucial
elements for Travis Perkins operations.
Travis Perkins has agreed a lease for 15 years (with 10-year break option)
at a rent of £60,400 pa. Joint agents were King Sturge and Dreweatt
Neate.

Melksham
Greenearth Food Packaging Company are the latest occupiers in phase one
of the Ashville Centre, the Ashville Groups new eight-acre development
in Melksham.
A high profile site fronting the A350, the development comprises 40,000
sq ft of flexible accommodation within a new managed estate. Phase one
will initially provide 15 brand new units of up to 7,000 sq ft, available
on a freehold or leasehold basis, and Greenearth have purchased Unit A4,
a prominent 2,910 sq ft unit adjacent to Commerce Way, for £95 psf.
Mitcheldean
On behalf of Teledyne Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies
incorporated, the Bristol office of Lambert Smith Hampton has facilitated
the pre-let on a 33,000 sq ft bespoke industrial unit at Vantage Point
Business Village in Mitchedlean.
The new build 33,000 sq ft industrial unit is planned for completion by
the end of 2008. Teledyne Technologies agreed to a 15 year lease with
a break at ten years, as a passing rent of £178,500 pa with a four
month rent free period. Vantage Point Business Village Ltd is the developer
on the project and was unrepresented.
Bristol
A Bristol business removal company is the first new occupier to move into
the South Liberty lane industrial estate in Ashton Vale since business
park operator SEGRO bought the estate late last year.
McKeown Business Moves has taken 16,000 sq ft of space.
South Liberty lane has joined the Bristolworks.co.uk cluster of business
parks which offers over 1m sq ft of flexible business space around Bristol.
SEGRO, which bought the industrial estate for £20m, is now carrying
out a programme of refurbishment work on units at South Liberty Lane.
The industrial units are being marketed by King Sturge, Knight Frank and
Colliers CRE.
