The Exeter office of Christie & Co have announced the recent re-opening
of the Fat Pig freehouse in John Street, close to Exeter city centre.
The new owners have invested more than £100,000 in a complete refurbishment
of the premises.
Hamish and Rob Lothian purchased the freehouse, which comprises a main
bar. restaurant, courtyard and three-bedroom owners accommodation,
for an undisclosed figure after Christie and Co sought £250,000
for the freehold.
Torquay
Travelodge has announced the unconditional exchange of contracts on five
new hotel development sites creating 70 new jobs at an investment of £14m.
One is to be located in Newton Road, Torquay, representing an investment
of £3.6m.
