Claire Cushion of DTZ
Associate Director

DTZ has strengthened its Bristol office with the appointment of Claire Cushion as an associate director within the investment team.
Claire will be responsible for investment acquisitions and disposals across the South West.
Charity Cycle Ride

Alder King have welcomed George Turnbull back to their Exeter office, following his successful charity cycle ride to Peru which saw him raise over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Research.
The Peru Cycling Challenge is a gruelling cycle ride which starts at Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and progresses across the remote Altiplano through Andean villages and past snow-capped mountains, to Machu Picchu – the fabled ‘Lost City of the Incas’. In total, over 30 riders took part in the challenge which covered over 500km in six days and reached an altitude of 4,338m.
Senior Planner
Knight Frank has appointed Jenny Offord as senior planner within its planning and urban regeneration team based in its Bristol office.
Company Acquired
Colliers CRE has acquired Bristol-based building, surveying and architectural consultancy Huthwaite for £1.1m.
Henleaze-based Huthwaite specialises in healthcare, education and agricultural diversification. The conversion of older style industrial or commercial buildings into housing is a particular speciality.
Principals Robert Huthwaite and Martin Wright will become directors of Colliers, with Robert Huthwaite as head of building consultancy in Bristol.


Andrew Ranson of Miller Commercial
Surveyor

Miller Commercial has appointed Andrew Ranson as senior valuer within their practice. Andrew previously has gained experience in a number of senior positions, including spells at Christie & Co and Bruton Knowles.
Two New Members

Alder King, Taunton are pleased to welcome two new members of staff to the practice – Glenn Chinnock and Rupert Hambly.
Glenn joins the practice as an associate and will be responsible for servicing the agency instructions across the office, industrial and retail sectors throughout Somerset and Dorset, as well as supporting Andrew Maynard, partner in charge of the Taunton office.
Rupert will be working within the professional services department where his main focus will be to undertake valuations and landlord & tenant work.
New Associate
Knight Frank’s Bristol office has announced the appointment of Philip Littlewood as a new associate. Philip, who will be based in Bristol, joins from Colliers CRE, and will deal with projects in Bristol and the south west for the residential development division of Knight Frank, with a particular focus on mixed-use developments.
New Recruit
Miller Commercial have announced the appointment of a new recruit, Philip Richards, to their chartered surveying practice.
Philip will join an already well-established team headed up by partner Mike Nightingale, and deal with the agency of industrial, retail and office accommodation around Cornwall.
