Bristol The freehold interest in the period office building, 15 John Street, Bristol, has been sold to a private developer. A former Georgian town house, located within the conservation area, has been sold with vacant possession for £220,000. It currently comprises a basement, ground floor and three upper floors, totalling 1,163 sq ft and was formerly occupied by the vendors, Regent Holidays. The purchasers are involved in a number of residential conversion schemes but at this stage they are not disclosing what their plans are. Hartnell Taylor cook LLP advised the vendors, Regent Holidays. The purchasers were unrepresented. Bodmin Miller Commercial of Truro has sold the former offices at Bodmin of the Cornish Guardian, who are part of the Devon & Cornwall Media Group. Located at 30 Fore Street the building provided a ground floor retail unit of 75.9 sq m (817 sq ft) with two floors above. The premises have been acquired by Betfred. 30, Fore Street, Bodmin was sold off a freehold guide price of £275,000. The sale price was not disclosed. |
