Bristol Bristol-based Urbis Developments had joined forces with G&C Finance to redevelop a city centre building into apartments, complimenting the multi-million pound Broadmead extension. St Stephens House on Colston Avenue in Bristol will be transformed into 47 studio apartments. Due for completion in the summer of 2008, the projects future was secured by Urbis utilising G&C Finances experience in the funding of mixed-use developments. Urbis Developments is due to redevelop the empty upper floors of the 21,572 sq ft building, with the ground floor and basement remaining let to brewery Eldridge Pope Ltd. Planning permission has been granted for 47 individual studio apartments between 300 and 350 sq ft, aimed at students and key workers. |
