Cheltenham
Salmon Harvester Properties has unveiled two new arrivals at The Brewery, its mixed-use retail and leisure scheme in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Midlands-based chain Après Bar has taken a 609 sq m (6,555 sq ft) ground-floor unit on a new 25-year lease at an annual rent of £140,000.
In addition, Burger Burger has acquired 271 sq m (2,917 sq ft) restaurant outlet set over two floors. The unit has been taken on a new 25-year lease at a rent of £56,000 pa.
Salmon Harvester Properties was advised by Hartnell Taylor Cook, while Colliers CRE acted on behalf of Après Bar. Burger Burger was unrepresented.

South Molton
The London Inn, which forms part of the 300-year old Molland Estate in the village of Molland, near South Molton on the southern edge of the Exmoor National Park, has been sold on a brand new, free-of-tie lease through the Exeter office of Christie & Co.
Christie & Co acted on behalf of the Molland Estate in seeking a new lessee to run the London Inn for a term of 12-15 years. The freehouse was formerly operated for approx nine years by private tenants who have now reired.
The lease on the London Inn was sold for an undisclosed figure after Christe & Co sought offers on a premium of £50,000.

Fowey
Miller Commercial of Truro report the sale of The Toll Bar Café Restaurant in Fowey.
The premises provide a 34 cover main restaurant area, a 12 cover bar area and an impressive 26 cover outside terrace providing panoramic views across the busy River Fowey towards Polruan.
The business was sold with the benefit of a new 10 year lease, off an asking rental of £17,500 pa on fri terms.
The Toll Bar was sold off a guide price of £110,000.



Windsor Castle, Exeter

Acting on behalf of Heavitree Brewery plc, the Exeter office of Christie & Co, has sold the freehold interest in the Windsor Castle Inn in North Street, Heavitree, Exeter, to Howard Property Lettings, which owns a number of retail units in Exmouth.
The stone property comprises separate lounge and public bars, a disused catering kitchen and two-bedroom owner’s accommodation. To the rear there is a disused function room and store in addition to a courtyard area.
Christie & Co sought offers in the region of £325,000 for the Windsor Castle Inn, which was sold for an undisclosed figure.
