A Monmouthshire guest house, which has been closed since the beginning of the year in order for the current owners to retire, has been sold through the Bristol office of Christie & Co.
The Lychgate Guest House comprises a Victorian house, with later additions, and is designed to be a largely self sufficient and fully functioning bed and breakfast business, with five en suite letting bedrooms.
There is a separate owner’s cottage, which was built in 1992, and has two double bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, a garage and a rear garden.

The Lychgate Guest House was sold for an undisclosed sum from a freehold asking price of £350,000. Christie Finance arranged the funding for the purchaser.

Bettesworths have sold the leasehold interest of Green Cuisine in Brixham off an asking price of £42,950.
