Evans Easyspace’s £2.8m business centre development in Melksham is one step closer to completion after a topping out ceremony.
The 19,000 sq ft Evans Business Centre will provide a mix of 25 offices and eight workshops. Bristol based Pearce Construction is carrying out the build and completion is planned for August 2008.

Plans to transform land next to the SS Great Britain in Bristol into a mixed-use development have moved a step closer in a multi-million pound deal.
Withy King Solicitors acting on behalf of Albion Yard Developments Ltd advised on the acquisition of the land in a move that will result in Albion Yard being transformed into a mixed development of commercial and residential uses.
The current planning proposal is to build three separate mixed use buildings which will wrap the site to form a new semi-private square. Comprising four floors of offices, it will be surrounded by restaurant/café bar, shops and 65 apartments.

Paignton
The two companies shortlisted by Torbay Council for the redevelopment of Paignton’s Oldway Mansion Estate are to begin a six week public consultation period this month.
The two developers – Swan Country Homes and Urban Splash – were selected for stage two submissions following a marketing process led by GVA Grimley.
