Cwmbran Barola Property Holdings has completed a major commercial property deal in south Wales – resulting in a new role for the former Technicolor DVD production plant at Llantarnam Business Park in Cwmbran. With funding of £4m provided by Julian Hodge Bank Commercial, Cardiff-based Barola will let the 32,000 sq ft building to Bron Afon		Community Housing Ltd after completing a high-quality refurbishment scheme. Earlier this year the company bought the 166,000 sq ft former Hyper Value headquarters building in Merthyr Tydfil, now let to Peacock Stores on a 15-year lease. Its Cwmbran deal is thought to be the largest office letting in South Wales for 18 months.
