Ridgeway Nursing Home, Llawhaden

A former mansion house in Pembrokeshire, which is now registered as a residential care home, has been sold through the Bristol office of Christie & Co.
Ridgeway Nursing Home is located in Llawhaden; a rural area between Carmarthen and Haverfordwest, and is set in circa 16 acres of grounds.

The home is dual registered for 46 residents and accommodation includes a dining room, a sun room, a bar lounge, a TV lounge and a converted cottage that is registered for two service users. Above the original building, there is a three-bedroom flat which is occupied by staff members.
Ridgeway Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of £2,450,000 for the freehold interest.

Carmarthen
Y Garreg Lwyd, situated on the outskirts of St Clears near Carmarthen, has recently been sold.
The sale was handled through the Bristol office of Christie & Co, and the funding for the purchase was arranged by Christie Finance.
Y Garreg Lwyd is registered for 17 residents and the accommodation includes 13 single rooms, two twin rooms, a dining room and two separate residents’ sitting rooms. On the first floor, the home benefits from three-bedroom owner’s accommodation, with a private balcony overlooking the countryside.
Y Garreg Lwyd was sold for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of £1,000,000 for the freehold interest.
