Magor
Work has begun on Wales 1, a £60m business park scheme at the gateway to south Wales.
The business park is located on at J23a of the M4, at Magor. Wales 1 will deliver a total of 264,000 sq ft of space in nine, individual, three-story office units.
The first 25,000 sq ft office block has already been sold off plan. The unit is due to be completed by February 2009. Serviced offices business Regus has taken some 15,000 sq ft of the total of the first building on a leasehold basis at £14.50 psf with 10,000 sq ft remaining.
Also included in the Wales 1 master plan is a 120-bed luxury hotel and 100-place private, children’s day nursery. There will be a total of 1,155 on site parking spaces available for occupiers.

Cardiff
Artist impressions have been released for Laburnam House, a new 10,050 sq ft office development at Cardiff Gate International Business Park.
Planning has been granted for a three-storey stand-alone development which will be located adjacent to the Regus building at the 100-acre business park. The property is available to let as a whole or on a floor-by-floor basis and will include 42 dedicated parking spaces.
Sir Robert McAlpine is the contractor and Kennedy James Griffiths the architect.
