Hyder Consulting has strengthened its position in the property market by acquiring RPA Quantity Surveyors Ltd (RPA).
Based in Cardiff the firm employs 25 people and works for blue chip companies across the UK. RPA made a profit before interest and tax 		for the year to 30 April 2006 of £0.55m. Hyder will pay up to £3.3m for the company, part of which is based on future performance.
Ian Parfitt and Nick Soady, who have built RPA up to its present position, will continue to lead the business.
