Savills is The Times' top property graduate employer22nd April 2012

Image by Laura LeavellInternational real estate advisor Savills has retained its position as The Times’ top graduate recruiter in the property sector, achieving first place in its category at the 2012 Graduate Recruitment Awards for the sixth consecutive year. 
 
The Times Graduate Recruitment Awards 2012, held at Kings Place, London on 27 March, announced the results of interviews held with 17,737 final year students. Savills triumphed over competitors Foxtons and Knight Frank to be named ‘Graduate Employer of Choice for Property’, a position it has occupied since the category’s introduction in 2007.
 
Savills Southampton office remains committed to its graduate programme and has recruited four surveying and planning graduates in the last year. James Percival from the University of the West of England, Sam Dight from Oxford Brookes University, Natalie Morris from London South Bank University and Peter Warren of The University of Sheffield are working on building & project consultancy, development land, corporate management and planning departments respectively.
 
Nick Ireland, director at Savills Southampton, said: “Despite the difficulties faced by the property sector in recent years, we remain committed to recruiting and growing the best new talent both nationally and throughout our regional offices. This latest award highlights the company’s ongoing dedication to providing surveying graduates with the knowledge and support they require to ensure a successful start to their surveying careers.”
