Acting as sole agents on behalf of Lothbury Property Trust Company Ltd, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Southampton office has let Unit 12 Barnes Wallis Road, Segensworth East, Hampshire to Vohkus Limited.
Vohkus Limited are relocating from Hedge End to the new facility, which is four times the size of their existing premises. The hi-tech business unit comprises approximately 19,411 sq ft on a self-contained site with over 10,000 sq ft of ground and first floor office space. The whole building has recently been refurbished.
Vohkus Limited is a specialist in the provision of IT solutions and services to mid market businesses, with current annual revenues of £40m. The new facility provides Vohkus with the foundation upon which the company can execute their plans to increase annual revenue to £100m over the next five years.
Matthew Poplett, Director at Jones Lang LaSalle’s Industrial and Logistics Agency team in Southampton said: “This unit is strategically located between Southampton and Portsmouth at junction 9 of the M27. It provides excellent motorway access and a unique solution to an occupier who required a modern high tech building with a high office content, warehouse and light industrial area under one roof”.
