Support provider, Newkey Ltd is the latest business to take space in Bristol’s newly refurbished Tower House, the 14-storey city centre building in Fairfax Street, under a deal secured by Jones Lang LaSalle.
Newkey Ltd is based in Totnes, but the company has expanded its services in the South West by opening a Bristol office. The deal was completed less than a month after the initial viewing.
The company, which provides support for people with learning disabilities, has taken 1,160 sq ft in a three year lease and will be the fifth new occupier secured for Tower House within a few months.
Other recent tenants include stockbrokers, HB Markets, Immediate Media and recruitment specialists Central Appointments and eRecruit.
Matt Wintle from Newkey Ltd said: “We identified a need for a forward thinking support provider within the Bristol area to enable people with learning disabilities to maximise their independence within the community. It was a natural extension of our service to open an office in the city.
“Tower House immediately stood out because of its location and after looking at the development more closely it provided good value space that we could easily adapt to create our own stamp on an office to suit our culture and purpose.”
Steve Lane, surveyor in the Bristol office agency team at Jones Lang LaSalle said: “The speed at which space is being taken up in Tower House since its refurbishment clearly demonstrates strong demand for good value office space in the city centre.”
Jones Lang LaSalle acted as joint agents with Colliers International on behalf of Urbina.
