Innes England has secured the letting of a 15,000 sq ft industrial unit in the prime industrial estate of Oakham Business Park in Mansfield.
The property agent completed the off-market deal within five days of acknowledgement of the current tenant vacating.
Scott Osborne of Innes England said: "Although the current market for commercial property is relatively tough with limited enquiries, we are finding that the quality of the enquiries is relatively healthy, in particular, across the industrial sector. With our knowledge of the area, we were aware of several parties who would be interested in a unit on this popular estate. As soon as we knew that the current tenant had exercised their option to come out of the lease we were able to secure a viewing within 24hours, which led to a successful completion.”
Oakham Business Park is one of the principal business estates in Mansfield with convenient access to the Mansfield and Ashfield Regeneration Route (MARR) providing good transport links with Junction 28 of the M1. The estate accommodates a range of office and industrial buildings with occupiers including Sangenic, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Reflex Labels and Pompadour.
Alec Hamlin, from the landlord Blueprint, said: “The speed in which this property was re-let pays testament to the desirability of the units at Oakham Business Park and demonstrates Innes England’s ability to act quickly in securing a deal. Blueprint owns a number of industrial estates across the East Midlands, and Oakham is one of our top performers.”
In addition to the disposal, Innes England’s building consultancy department handled the dilapidation claim on behalf of the landlord.
