Gazeley agrees major deal with soft drinks manufacturer AG Barr plc20th August 2012


Gazeley, a global developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has announced the agreement of a major deal with AG Barr plc, the soft drinks manufacturer behind Irn-Bru, Tizer and Rubicon, to build a state of the art 265,000 sq ft warehouse and production plant at Magna Park Milton Keynes.

The project for AG Barr plc will include the construction of a warehouse, production facility and offices and will be AG Barr’s largest investment in warehousing space, south of Scotland, to date. Work will soon commence on site and the building will be completed in just over four months. AG Barr’s fit out will take place afterwards.

The new facility will boost local employment by creating over 100 new jobs in the local area.

Magna Park Milton Keynes is Gazeley’s flagship UK development site, designed to provide a high quality business environment for businesses seeking state-of-the-art logistics warehouse accommodation in a proven logistics location. The scheme provides a fully landscaped, managed environment with generous access and circulation, but above all provides flexibility and choice. Covering 210 acres, with planning consent for 4.4 million sq ft (409,000 sq m), the park is already occupied by the major brands John Lewis and River Island.
