White Stuff chooses Milton Keynes for its first major shopping centre24th September 2012

White Stuff, the fashion and lifestyle brand, is taking 2,400 sq ft at thecentre:mk, the regional shopping centre situated in the heart of Milton Keynes. The unit will be the brand’s first in a major UK shopping centre.

White Stuff, which sells a full range of lifestyle fashions, will take a unit on Sunset Walk, directly opposite House of Fraser and alongside other brands in the Premium Quarter such as: Kurt Geiger, Jaeger, Thomas Sabo and Phase Eight. The retailer currently operates 83 stores across the UK and will be joining a scheme, which boasts over 27 million customer visits per year.

This latest edition comes as part of the ongoing development of the new Premium Quarter, which has included a £4.5m refurbishment programme of House of Fraser and refitted units for retailers Jewels and Sunglass Hut.

The owners are continuing to invest in enhancing the shopping experience for visitors. This includes a major refurbishment underway to Next and John Lewis, totalling over £33 million. Further to this, a planning proposal has recently been submitted to Milton Keynes Council for the £40 million development of Secklow Gate enabling construction of a 90,000 sq ft flagship Primark Store and a further 17,000 sq ft unit.”
