New commercial graduate joins Stratton Creber Commercial in Exeter23rd October 2012

The Exeter office of commercial property surveyors Stratton Creber Commercial has expanded with the appointment of a new team member.

James Selby, a recent graduate of Reading University with a 2.1 degree in Real Estate, joined the 8-person Exeter team in September. In his first few weeks James has mainly been working in the office’s Agency department but his qualifications and experience will allow him to get involved in the firm’s other areas of expertise, including valuations, property management and landlord & tenant matters.

James said: “I was surprised by how busy the guys were, and the first few weeks have been a bit of a baptism of fire. Just after I joined, the firm was awarded the title of “Most Active Agent in Devon” by the Estates Gazette, and I can see that a lot of work goes into making every deal happen.”

Damian Cook, Director at Stratton Creber Commercial, said: “We are delighted to have added James to our team. He has a good understanding of commercial property matters, but equally importantly, he has excellent local knowledge, having lived most of his life near Exeter. And possibly the most important thing for us, James has loads of enthusiasm and he really wants to get involved as a member of the fantastically strong business community in Exeter.”
