HEB planning application for West Bridgford redevelopment29th October 2012

A NEW retail and restaurant development in the heart of West Bridgford is being marketed by Nottingham-based property consultants heb.
A planning application to redevelop the property in Albert Road, next to Barclays Bank and opposite Marks & Spencer, is being submitted to Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The proposed retail accommodation would provide 2,500 sq ft and could be let as one unit or sub divided into two units of around 1,250 sq ft each. Planning permission is being sought for a range of potential uses.

“West Bridgford is a very strong retailing location and the addition of two new units will strengthen the vitality of the town centre,” said heb partner Jonathan Emmerson.

“Our client is very conscious of current market conditions and therefore the level of rentals at both units is affordable and should be of interest to both national and local retailers.

“My client is a local resident and is sensitive towards any potential concerns that local shoppers and residents may have.”

Jon said: “Although we are already in discussions with a number of occupiers with regards to both units, it is not too late for potential occupiers to contact heb to discuss their requirements in greater detail.”

If the planning application is successful construction will probably begin in the New Year. The units would be ready for tenant occupation in autumn 2013. Heb is acting on behalf of private clients.
