Pinnacle Design buys industrial unit at Budbrooke Point, Warwick13th December 2012

Pinnacle Design – a UK-based design, engineering and manufacturing company – has purchased the 7,241 sq ft unit 5 at Budbrooke Point, on Budbrooke Road Industrial Estate near Warwick in a drive to help its expansion plans to offer new services and create more than 20 jobs.

The development, by Stratford-upon-Avon-based Chase Commercial, is located to the west of the town adjacent to the A46 Warwick bypass, which leads to junction 15 of the M40.

Unit 5 is the first to be sold after Chase Midlands Estates invested heavily in an extensive refurbishment of the site including new elevation cladding and a steel clad roof, complete internal and external redecoration, a re-surfaced car park, and level access loading doors.

Founded in 2005, Pinnacle Design was set-up to provide facilities and expertise for the automotive, aerospace, marine and military sectors. It employs 50 people across two sites in Warwick and Nuneaton. The premises at Budbrooke Point will become the company’s new design centre and HQ.

Jamie Campbell, director at Pinnacle Design, said: “The new HQ and Design Centre will support our experienced designers and engineers to carry out concept development, produce show vehicles and facilitate niche specialised production. We are also looking to create in excess of 20 new jobs and expand the company’s capabilities.

“Location was very important to us, but also the high quality units enable us to meet the standard required by our automotive clients.”

Chase Commercial director Julian Meredith said: “We are very pleased to welcome Pinnacle Design to Budbrooke Point and look forward to seeing the company continue its success in Warwickshire.

“The site is strategically located right in the heart of the UK’s automotive industry. It is also close to both Whitley and Gaydon where the company’s main client, Jaguar Land Rover, is based. I am sure they will continue to thrive and create jobs for local people.”
