South Wales international construction consultants Lewis and Lewis Ltd are sponsoring the prestigious Elemis Polo at the Celtic Manor Resort in the Usk Valley near Newport.
The one day polo event is staged on a specially created polo field alongside Celtic Manor’s internationally renowned 2010 golf course. This year’s event will be held on Saturday 15 June with gates open at 11.30am and closing at 8.30pm
Lewis Lewis, the Newport company’s Director of Corporate & Client Services for the UK & Middle East, said: “This is an extremely high profile annual Wales sporting event and we’re delighted to once more be involved in helping to bring Elemis Polo to the Celtic Manor Resort here in Newport.
Lewis said the polo at Celtic Manor served to focus a unique spotlight on Newport and south Wales with many potential investors who are attracted to the high profile event given an insight into what was available in the area.
Organisers are anticipating that some 2,000 people will attend this year’s event.
