Refurbishment of South Wilford industrial estate, Nottingham, does the trick in attracting new tenant14th February 2013

Mather Jamie has secured a new tenant for three units at a Nottingham industrial estate, after advising on a full refurbishment programme.

Global firm Weatherford has taken a lease on a 5,431ft warehouse unit at the Nottingham South Wilford Industrial Estate in West Bridgford.

Weatherford, which operates in 137 countries and specialises in the manufacture of gas and oil exploration equipment, plans to use the new premises to support the company’s expansion.

“Our advice helped to quickly generate interest in the three premises, which is supported by the fact we have secured tenants for all of the available premises.

Martin Kerry, Mechanical Supervisor at Weatherford, said: “We have taken the premises at South Wilford Industrial Estate in order to support an expansion of our global logistics department.

“Our main requirement was for more storage space for the products we manufacture at our main headquarters in East Leake, but it was also important to find premises located close by.

“Mather Jamie was able to offer us a suitable space, with a professional appearance, just seven miles from East Leake.

“The fact the premises had been refurbished to a high standard was a major advantage, because we were able to move in straight away and it is also essential for us, as a global company, to project a professional appearance at all times.”
