Sibbett Gregory has recently completed three separate commercial lettings at the Duchy of Cornwall's Poundbury Estate in Dorchester on behalf of Morrish Builders. Two first floor office suites have been let at Escalus House, which fronts Queen Mother Square, while a ground floor retail unit has been let on Challacombe Square.
Alastair Knott said "Poundbury continues to be an attractive location for both office occupiers and retailers and we have been very pleased to conclude these three transactions on behalf of Morrish Builders. We are now looking forward to launching the marketing of The Buttermarket, which will be unique in Poundbury, as it offers commercial units within close proximity to each other providing significant critical mass".
The Buttermarket is being developed by Morrish Builders and is set to become the focal point of the South West Quadrant, featuring 18 retail and commercial units. The development includes a landmark building, which is to be occupied as an artisan bakery and coffee shop, operated by the Town Mill Bakery of Lyme Regis.
