Barratt Homes is to move its South West headquarters to newly refurbished offices in Aztec West, Bristol, following a deal in which CBRE Bristol acted as advisers.
The agreement was reached after Schroders Property Investment Management signed a deal to let the whole of Building 710 on Waterside Drive at Aztec West to Barratt’s parent company BDW Trading Ltd. Under the terms of the deal the building has been let for ten years at a rental value of £15.75 per sq ft.
CBRE will manage a major refurbishment of the two storey 13,265 sq ft building - expected to take 12 weeks to complete - on behalf of Schroders before Barratt Homes moves from its existing regional offices in Almondsbury.
CBRE advised Schroders Property Investment Management, BNP advised BDW Trading Ltd.
