Taunton-based commercial property specialists Summerfield Developments have announced plans to build a further Enterprise Unit at Wellington’s Westpark 26.
It is anticipated that building of the new Enterprise Unit – which will provide a further 14 units and a storage compound – will commence in June or July, following the granting of planning permission. The developers have already experienced considerable success with the popular commercial site, with all 26 units within the first two blocks now sold.
Duncan Brown of Greenslade Taylor Hunt, who is marketing the development said: “The combination of being strategically located adjacent to Junction 26 of the M5 motorway and providing high quality units on a new business park continues to attract occupiers."
Ben Trickey, Senior Development Surveyor for Summerfield Developments, said: “We’re pleased to announce these plans as a result of the success already experienced at Westpark 26 so far. Thanks in large part to its prime location in the heart of the South West, we now have a strong mix of occupiers and successful businesses located at the park, and this planned expansion will give even more companies the opportunity to grow and thrive in this business environment”.
Adjacent to Chelston Business Park in Wellington, Somerset, Westpark 26 will ultimately total 46,450 sq m (500,000 sq ft) of mainly industrial and warehouse facilities. The site currently has a hotel and pub together with workshops and starter units. Other proposed uses for the business park include trade counters, offices and child daycare, along with car showrooms and a veterinary clinic.
