Halls Commercial and Wilkins Chartered Surveyors announce merger4th June 2013

Chartered surveyors Halls Commercial and Wilkins Chartered Surveyors have announced the merger of their two businesses.

The combined practice, to be known as Halls Wilkins Commercial, will become the largest firm of commercial property consultants and chartered surveyors in Worcester.

Jason Clines, managing partner of Halls Commercial, said: “This is a very exciting evolution of our business and, having enjoyed a very friendly and close working relationship with the Wilkins business for many years, we are absolutely delighted that Roger and his team will now be joining us.”

Roger Wilkins, senior director of Wilkins, who has worked in the county since qualifying in 1976 and will become a partner of the new business, said: “We have prided ourselves on being a small but vibrant and friendly practice over the years and this move sees us coming together with a very well established and diverse practice in Halls."

Wilkins has been a recognizable name in the Worcester commercial property market since its inception in 1996 and, has its roots in the old firm of Banks and Silvers. This merger brings them together with Halls who themselves have operated in the city for many years, previously being known as Humberts, DTZ and, before that, Bernard Thorpe. Their combined experience in the Worcestershire and wider West Midlands market places them at the forefront of commercial property consultants within the region.
