The Southampton Jones Lang LaSalle Industrial & Logistics team and Lambert Smith Hampton have helped regional investor and developer Oceanic Estates complete the largest warehouse letting since July 2009 to Harris Transport, who have signed a new 15 year lease at 4, Parham Drive, Eastleigh.
Harris Transport, a local warehouse and distribution company from Southampton, will be expanding and relocating to the 109,588 sq ft 12 m high bay warehouse on approximately four acres. Tony Lewis Chartered Surveyors represented Harris Transport who will take occupation in mid June 2013.
Matthew Poplett, Head of Industrial & Logistics in the Southampton office, said: This is the largest warehouse letting on the South Coast since July 2009 when the building was previously let to Just Data Systems on a short term lease. There is a lack of good quality large distribution space within a 30 mile radius of Southampton and Jones Lang LaSalle are in the position of marketing two of the other four premises, which are built and available over 50,000 sq ft.
