Goadsby Hotels and Leisure Division has sold the former Beach Hut retail property in Belle Vue Road, Southbourne to the Ashley’s fish and chip shop chain.
The premises, which are currently undergoing a complete refurbishment will commence trading towards the end of 2013. The fish and chip shop chain is owned and operated by the Morrison family. They also operate chip shops in New Milton and Ferndown and they pride themselves on providing good quality and service to their customers.
The new owner, Lauren Morrison said, “We are very excited to have secured the new unit in Southbourne to further expand the Ashley’s brand of fish and chip shops. We know that we can bring high quality food to the area and with the shops large catchment and free parking we will be well placed to serve the local community”.
Mark Nurse from Goadsby said, “It was a pleasure dealing with the Morrison family on this transaction. They have recently won a top three regional placing in the National Fish & Chip Shop Awards and, I have no doubt that they will bring a successful new format to Southbourne.”
