The Bristol office of leading property advisers CBRE has announced the appointment of Rebecca Maddison as a graduate surveyor, one of 30 graduates recruited nationally by the firm as part of its in-house two year training programme.
Rebecca recently graduated from Northumbria University with a first class honours degree in Estate Management. During her placement year she gained valuable experience working in commercial property agency and portfolio management for a small firm in Newcastle.
“Working for CBRE will provide me with a solid platform to develop my career under the correct guidance and structure,” said Rebecca.
“The graduate programme will enable me to further my qualifications with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), while also introducing new service lines and relevant experiences that will eventually enable me to specialise in the future. I am thrilled to have joined.”
Garry Hicks, Managing Director of CBRE Bristol, said: “At CBRE we have always believed in working closely with universities, colleges and schools to recruit the brightest and best talent into the property sector. Rebecca is a welcome addition to our team.”
Following Rebecca’s appointment, CBRE, which recently celebrated its tenth year in the city, now has 40 people based at its Bristol office working across a wide range of commercial property services.
