Polar Venture Management acquires 4.5 acre factory site in West Oxfordshire3rd January 2014

VSL acquires 4.5 acre factory site in West OxfordshireA 4.5 acre factory site on Old Station Way, Eynsham in West Oxfordshire has just been acquired by commercial property specialists VSL & Partners on behalf of Polar Venture Management (PVM). 

The 60,000 sq ft site, which has been bought from WS Supplies Ltd, comprises two office complexes, which are connected to a factory unit providing 40,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.

Richard Venables, director at VSL & Partners said: “This was a complex deal that concluded in just eight weeks over the summer period. It was an interesting collaboration with West Oxfordshire's development team, which resulted in retaining business in the district.”

PVM intends to develop the unused factory space into manufacturing units for its growing engineering business portfolio. SS Tube Technology Ltd (SSTT) a PVM company, has signed an agreement to lease on an initial 7,000 sq ft within the factory. This will allow PVM to set up a further engineering business creating a further 130 jobs.

Will Barton, Business Development officer for West Oxfordshire District Council said: “This is fantastic news for West Oxfordshire and we look forward to continuing to work with the new owners of the site.”
