GJS Dillons sells prime residential building plot in Worcester28th February 2014

GJS Dillons sells prime residential building plot in WorcesterWest Midlands independent property consultancy GJS Dillon has sold a prime residential building plot close to Worcester town centre on behalf of the United Reform Church (West Midlands) Trust.

The land, which is in Albany Terrace, next to the United Reform Church, has been bought by a local developer who plans to build residential property.

Part of the plot is currently occupied by a warehouse, but planning permission has been given for the demolition of the warehouse and erection of a four bedroom detached house.

When it went to market the land attracted a great deal of interest with nine offers from interested parties. It was sold following a best and final offer exercise.

Philip Jones, director of GJS Dillon said, “This land is in the Worcester Conservation Area and is surrounded by high quality Georgian and Regency houses. Being within easy walking distance of Worcester city centre with all of its shops and facilities, and with planning permission already existing it attracted an enormous amount of interest and we achieved a good price for our client.”
