Arthur J Gallagher takes 10 year commercial property lease on Swindon offices6th March 2014

Arthur J Gallagher takes 10yr commercial property lease on Swindon officesGlobal insurance broking firm Arthur J Gallagher has taken a new ten year lease on 10,538 sq ft of office space on the second floor at Station Square in Swindon.

The landlord, Amalgamated Berkshire Group, was jointly represented by Savills and Loveday, while Arthur J Gallagher was represented by Gerald Eve.

Station Square is now 60 per cent let following on from successful deals to PrePay Technologies and Colas Rail in 2013.

Chris Meredith, director of business space at Savills, said: “This is another significant letting for Swindon and Station Square. Arthur J Gallagher is a high-profile, multinational that has chosen to remain in the heart of the town’s commercial centre. It is also testament to the quality of space available at the scheme and the additional car parking, which has been secured at the newly developed Whalebridge Car Park, following £15 million of investment by the local authority.”

Station Square is now the only grade A product in Swindon, both in and out of town. Office requirements from 2,444 sq ft (227 sq m) to 7,245 sq ft (679 sq m) can be accommodated at the building with an additional 10,538 sq ft (979 sq m) on the first floor currently under offer.
