New commercial lease brings life to rural Welsh shopping parade 6th March 2014

New commercial lease brings life to rural Welsh shopping parade Hairdresser Martine Wingfield has brought a ray of hope to an empty parade of five shops in the Welsh village of North Cornelly, near Bridgend, by signing a 15 year lease on a retail unit at a rent of £4,750 per annum.

Property consultants Alder King, acting on behalf of Valleys to Coast Corporate Services, agreed the deal that will see the 490 sq ft property at 42 Heol Llan become active once again and provide Martine with a new salon closer to her home.

Nicole Kruger of Alder King’s Cardiff office said: “This unit with its wide glazed frontage sits in a small retail parade and is well-positioned to become a hub of the local community.”
