Nurture signs largest out of town office deal in East Midlands31st March 2014

One of the UK's most successful fertility clinics, Nurture, has recently signed a lease for 15,483 sq ft of office space at Octavia House, Interchange 25 Business Park in Nottingham. This is the largest out  of town office deal in the East Midlands so far this year and was carried out on behalf of Midlands property company Hortons Estate Ltd by James Keeton, Associate Director at JLL and Steve Tommy of Hortons Estates.

Nurture, who are part of the ARP clinic group and are ranked sixth overall in the UK, were previously based at the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC), but decided to move to larger premises as part of their plans to expand.

“As the top fertility clinic in the Midlands region Nurture draws clients from a wide catchment area, so it was crucial to ensure we were strategically positioned for ease of access," said Daniel Watkins, head of operations and infrastructure at ARP. Interchange 25 is ideally placed in a secure setting close to the motorway network and Octavia House, soon to be renamed the Nottingham Fertility Centre, offers a statement standalone building to enable us to put our own identity on and create the right environment for our clients."

Interchange 25 Business Park is a successful and highly prominent business park, based at J25 of the M1 and offers excellent access to both Derby and Nottingham. It comprises a range of offices which have been refubished and fitted to a high specification.

James Keeton said: "We have successfully managed to let Octavia House with minimal void to our clients following the vacation of the previous occupier. This reflects the positive demand in the market at the moment and the lack of well located, good quality stock to satisfy this.

"Interchange 25 is a modern, high specification business park which benefits from excellent conectivity. It has been a consistent performer, attracting a good cross section of public and private sector tenants. The letting to Nurture is the latest in a string of transactions on the Park, and following this deal, we now only have one self contained building remaining which has been fully refurbished. Beyond this, the park has the potential to offer design and build space to suit occupier requirements and this will form the basis of our next marketing campaign.”

Steve Tommy of Hortons Estates said: “ By dealing directly with Nuture we were able to reach an agreement that suited both parties."
