Physio 1st chooses Trigate House in Birmingham as its new HQ14th May 2014

Physio 1st chooses Trigate House in Birmingham as its new HQPhysio 1st has chosen Nurton Developments' Trigate House in Birmingham as the centre for its new headquarters and training academy. Nurton spent £1.5 million in 2009 on refurbishing the striking blue and grey office building in order to offer city standard accommodation at competitive rates.

The sports and injury specialist has expanded rapidly over the past three years and intends to focus on Birmingham for further business development. Its staff will relocate from the Black Country.

Peter Grinbergs, clinical director at Physio 1st said: "We train all our staff ourselves, hence the need for the training academy and while we're quite happy with the size of the business at present, we would always still consider further opportunities. We see the elite sports performance market as a huge growth area for us and we intend to develop Birmingham as an elite, high performance centre.

"From a commercial perspective, TriGate offers a good route in and out of the Black Country for our staff who are now having to travel. It's a very visible location and also a great stop off point for people commuting in and out of Birmingham to drop in and have a treatment."

Keith Simkins from Nurton Developments said: "Physio 1st is a great local success story and hopefully the sort of business we can grow with and accommodate to provide it with the facilities and capacity to develop and expand its business.

"It has been a good first quarter for TriGate, with three lettings. New and used office furniture supplier, ORS and world leading lifting manufacturer, Vaculex have both taken space."

The building has Flexibase, a serviced office operator in place on two of the floors and is currently 75% occupied.
