The last remaining unit at Boyatt Wood Industrial Estate in Eastleigh has been let to Charles Kendall Freight in a deal arranged by BNP Paribas Real Estate on behalf of Aviva Investors.
Unit 7, which is a 10,576 warehouse, has been taken by Charles Kendall Freight on a ten-year lease with a five-year break clause.
Steve Williams, director of agency at BNP Paribas in Southampton attributes Boyatt Wood's letting track record to its good location and a rolling high specification, refurbishment programme by its owners, which has ensured the industrial estate remains well maintained.
"The reward for this investment is a thriving, fully let scheme, establishing new headline rents,” said Williams.
Last year, following a full refurbishment, Unit 3 at Boyatt Wood Industrial Estate was let by BNP Paribas Real Estate to Direct to Home, which is trading as Jamie at Home.
